    Aligning Span Elements

    Hi all,

    If there is no value between one of the <span> elements below then the next <label> is not lined up directly below the previous one - it is indented.

    This is only in FF. IE6 is fne.

    Any ideas why this is?? Thanks.

    Code:
     <div id="frm">

       <h3><span class="hdr">Director:</span></h3>

     	 <p>
     		 <label for="dir_name_fa" class="personal">Name</label>
     		 <span class="dir"><?php echo $fa_dir_name ?></span>
     	 </p>

     	 <p>
     	   <label for="dir_phone_fa" class="phone">Phone</label>
     		 <span class="dir"><?php echo $fa_dir_phone ?></span>
     	 </p>

     	 <p>
     	   <label for="dir_email_fa" class="email">Email</label>
     		 <span class="dir"><?php echo $fa_dir_email ?></span>
     	 </p>

     </div>
    Code:
     #frm {
     		 display:inline-block;
     		 background:transparent url(../images/form_bg.png);
     		 filter: alpha(opacity=70);
     		 filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Alpha(opacity=90);
     }

     #frm p {
     	 padding: 0;
     		 margin: 10px;
     }

     .dir {
       font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;
       font-size: 0.9em;
     }

    Is this actually a form or is it something else? If it's something else, you can't use label.
