[HELP] jpilot irc applet user list on seperate page

i recently installed JPILOTs IRC Chat applet onto my site:
    http://www.suncitystreetscene.net/chat/chat3.html

and would like to create a table or something that shows the names of the users that are in the chatroom.

    ya know whatta mean?
    i have a forum at:
    http://www.suncitystreetscene.net/forum
it is phpBB 1.4.4 modded with phpBBmod 1.3.2
on top, it shows the names of the members surfing the forums.
id like for it to show also the names of the users in the chatroom.

the forum is PHP and the chat is JAVA, so i dont know how or what to do?!

There isn't going to be a simple answer here. This can probably be accomplished, but it involves a complicated hack. Your best bet would be to check the phpBB community for this. As a vB user, I recall a hack released that integrated the two (JPilot and vB), but I'm not sure if this exists for phpBB.

well, its not really an INTEGRATION of the two that i am seeking.

just a way to show on another page on my server, whether is be a HTML or PHP page, and for it to show how many users are currently in the chatroom, ya know?

i will check the phpBB forums as well though.

This makes for an interesting topic. It's nearly impossible to fetch the users nicknames by opening a connection to irc with a php script.. but perhaps jpilot has some way of tracking the users that are connected through that client.

Jpilot just opens an irc connection with the nickname that's specified. I don't think it can be done.. but sure like to know how you did it if you accomplish it
