I'm thinking about running a travel blog website where users can

• write a travel diary

• upload photos

• discuss things in a forum etc

Does anyone know where I can find such a script to offer my own blogging server?

It looks like you are looking for something more then just a blogging script.. you want a community essentially...


check out www.communityserver.org

or you can always get wordpress for the blogging portion and use something like phpbb for the forum.

You can combine several scripts, for example: MU-Wordpress, Vanilla and Gallery. I don't know many all-in-one solutions, that will do that, but probably some of the CMS (Joomla, Etomite, Drupal, WordPress) have plugins for that.

Also, you can consider using a custom script.
