I'm currently considering using doorway pages, to get better indexing on the search engines. I want to use the meta refresh tage (<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;URL=http://someurl.com"> )

Is there any way, while using this tag, to keep the referring URL, (i.e. if someone clicks a link from Yahoo! and you get the referring URL http://ink.yahoo.com/bin?blahblah that it redirects to the page I specify, but keeps the referring URL from the search engine, or from the page it was clicked to from?

I think you're going to need a server-side script. As of now, IIRC, Javascript and client-side VBScript cannot read the querystring.

This is cinch in ASP, PHP, Perl, and even Cold Fusion.
