Thoughts on out of the box web solution?
Can anyone give me reasons not to go forward with an "out of the box" website solution. The offer from the out of the box company appears pretty reasonably priced and allows for ongoing customization and additional plugins when required as well as CMS so non developers like me can manage the site?

If it suits your needs and you are happy with what's on offer then go for it!
The only things I can think of...
1. You are probably restricted to what facilities they offer. If you wanted to expand ina certain way you might start finding the limitations, or incur extra costs.
2. If search engine listings are a high priority are they generated pages SE friendly?
3. Out of the box solutions can be relatively expensive when compared to other solutions. While this isn't a bad thing (you get what you pay for), are you going to be spending more than you need to?
