I am thinking of a domain name, but found it's being held by BuyDomains. Did anyone here have experience dealing with them? Is it safe to pay and expect the domain to be released in a timely manner, etc?

Getting the domain form them may take a few days. They are one of the biggest ones dealing with aftermarket domains.
