    what citizenship you have? where do you live now? as i know H1B is not an option... but there are the other options too. how many years of experience you got? for how long do you work with your client?

    I've been there. You don't have many, if any, options. The only free-trade TN visa in "computers" is as a Systems Analyst with a Systems Analyst degree - and they are insanely strict about what is programming and what is "systems analysis". They've seen all the dodges and given your details above would not qualify. A friend who is over qualified really got the third degree at the border.

    Are you single or would you be moving wife and kids? Your best bet may be to keep residence in Canada and fly down as a consultant (not an employee) on short 2 week trips.

    If the company has a Canadian branch, theoretically, you can become a Canadian employee then get an intra-company transfer.
