    textarea word restriction

I am trying to get a form to restrict to 100 words. It actually works initially, I get a pop-up that says you can only enter 100 words in the form but it does not stop a person from hitting submit and moving forward...any ideas?

Make your check function the onClick action of the submit button rather than onChange of the text area. Prevent the submission from occurring.

This still won't stop a punk hacker kid, a spam bot, a user with javascript disabled, etc. The real validation has to occur in the processing code server-side.
