Does everyone use adsense ?

Hi, Does everyone use andsense ? to make money from their websites, and is there any other programmes like adsense which i can use

Internet advertising had topped $6 billion a year in 2002, before AdSense even existed (source: IAB). Not everyone uses AdSense and there are many, many other ad networks and individual advertisers out there. SitePoint has an entire section (multiple forums), Advertising Sales & Affiliate Programs, dedicated to the topic.

A lot of people use adsense, yes. In fact, from my personal income, about 40% comes from adsense. But it is important not to rely on just one form of income in the online world. Checkout the other alternatives mentioned by Dan.

Personally, I would recommend adbrite.

Just a quick point about adbrite. It took a few weeks of NOTHING from them before I started earning. (I was using Google on the same pages so could not use their contextual stuff). But be patient. It will pay off.

Adbride accounts for about 10% of my personal revenue right now. They have the best customer service out of any ad network I have used except Tribal Fusion.

Yes. Everyone uses AdSense.

Many sites, but not all, use Adsense. It's a VERY popular "ad network" and is probably one of the main reasons for the online ad market recovery back in 2003.

Yahoo Publisher Network is probably the most on par and similar to Adsense. I've read that Microsoft adCenter will also be coming out with a similar program at some point to compete with Adsense & YPN.
