ARGHHHH! - Death to the never updated 'Service Status' page!

Is it me?

There I am, happily working away when all my FTP uploads stop. Hmmm, thats strange, check another server.... nothing. Reboot (well, I am using windows so you never can tell), still nothing. HTTP still works so of to my ISPs 'service status' page just to check and it says 'All systems OK'. But their is a phone number so I try that to get a message recorded at 10am this morning saying there is trouble with FTP.

10AM!!!!!!! - Its now 2pm and they haven't changed the service status page. Not that there's allot that I can do about it, but why bother having a page if it will never be updated (and my ISP is a rather large British Telecomunications company, naming no names ).

So, Is it me? - Should I shut up shop now and go and de-stress over christmas, or is the unchanged status page an issue worth typing a hundred words over.

Personally I'd never go to their website anyways, it's an external business model for most ISP's whereas the phone system is automated by the ticket system (if they're smart)

I just checked mine to confirm they actually had one, it appears to work correctly..

I figured they were mostly automatic. Hmmm... Im more worried about my host going down...
