I'm really interested in Ruby, and I've been reading lots of stuff. I'd like to get more into it, but every blog I come across that is about Ruby is usually more about Ruby on Rails.
Ruby as a language looks great, but I'm not a big fan of Rails - as a framework it doesn't meet my requirements.
I don't want this to turn into a "RoR rulez" thread. Rails doesn't work for me, and I'm not about to drop the way I work just to fit into the trend. Period.
So, are there any good blogs out there that are simply about Ruby, without all the Rails stuff?
http://redhanded.hobix.com/ to start. You should find other sites from links in there, but I doubt you'll find any ruby blog that doesn't at least touch on Rails from time to time. If you can live with that you should be okay
