Need a free affliate script

As i am planning to start an affliate programme, i just needed suggestion for a free affliate script...

And suggestion would be highly appreciated...

I don't know of any freebies available, but this script gives you a lot of bang for your buck... http://www.softservice.org/products_affiliatepro.html . At only $49 it seems great value.

I would recommend idev affiliate. It is definitely not free, but well worth the cash.

Sorry, not true. Idevaffiliate does not support their product. I got a refund and people are complaining about poor service on forums.

There are 2 free affiliate software I know about, though none is really free.
jrox.com - installed on your website, free up to 50 affiliates I think.
Affplanet.com - hosted - free until you reach certain amount of transactions.

Note that switching between solutions is not easy and not cheap so I suggest you make serious research on software you choose..

(looks around and sees would be affiliates running off due to merchant not wanting to invest in a professional tool. Hears crickets chirping...)

Do you really expect affiliates to want to send you their hard earned traffic to a merchant that doesn't even invest $100 in a good solution?

If so, you'll be yet another merchant "disillusioned" with an affiliate strategy, when it's actually your fault you haven't budgeted enough.
