    .net for forums?

Do you think .net is good extension for forums? At least is it extension better for forums than it is for anything else since its "network". The .com was taken for the domain I wanted and I just wanted to see how you guys felt about using .net for a forum even though I would prefer a .com.

    thanks

.net is perfectly fine for a community. In fact, they're all really the same except .com is just the first thing people think of. That's about it.

I personally run extremely popular forums with a .net extension. As far as type-ins go you're probably not going to get too many unless the name is incredibly specific, but you can easily brand a .net community and grow it to the same level as a .com!
