    Red face Ajax Slider

Just out of curiousity: Does anybody know how to create an Ajax slider like the one here:

    feed://feeds.feedburner.com/Magpiebrain

Are you refering to the Article Length slider? if so that is Safari specific. Safari will take an rss/atom feed and generate the html page you see from the raw xml. so that is all Apple JS that may or may not work on other browsers...i don't know. either way the people in the javascript sub-forum will be able help you more since this has nothing to do with Ruby.

Hm, never expected this to be a Safari issue... But of course you are right, I am using Safari and that would also explain the "feed:" prefix in the URL ;-)
Anyway, if anybody should come across a way to implement such a slider on a webpage (probably using Rails/Ajax?), please let me know!
