Now I don't want to see any frowns on this team. You don't have to carry the water bottles, you can drive the little cart.

Here's what we'll do. khuldun can drive the cart (with a Skoda engine I think) out to the middle and Hawk can drive it back. khuldun can then drive Hawk back to where she should be fielding or batting. OK?

    Fines

Many cricket teams have a fining system to raise money for the club or the dinner. Fines are given out for things like dropped catches, ducks, being late for training etc. Obviously we cannot fine for money but the concept stands.

It is the captain's responsibility for deciding the fines although anyone can "help" bring to his attention transgressions.

First of all I'm going to fine Hawk for an out of date avatar

My normal one is at work. It's gonna have to wait until the morning. What's the price?

Unfortunately, Sitepoint.com wasn't able to get over the line, falling short by 40 runs, although Heman maximus played very well, making 96 runs.

Better luck in the 1st Test, starting on Saturday.

    We Lose Again :(

    Unlucky guys. We lost again.

Here is a match report for the 2nd ODI

There are some positives to come out of the game. Henman maximus batted excellently and there was a good performance with the willow from Hawk. kiviniar bowled very well and was the pick of the bowlers.

SitePoint will come into its own in the Test matches.

    PS:
    Here is the scorecard

well u have to first write an application letter to MIke, listing 10 reasons on why u should be choosen....

Then after a week, mike will contact you with a PM, with the venue details and the timings the u will also get a gear, which u need to fit on to your comp and then baby the battle begins....

It like a mutliplayer gaming thing...

    Am i right Mike

hey u could get a cue from here,,,http://www.simulationcricket.com/

    1) Seriously!? Did you play First Class cricket?

    2) kiviniar is having a laugh Simply show your interest and Mike will consider you for the 1st Test starting Saturday. There is no physical involvement required, as it is all done via internet simulation

He's from Barnsley so must be able to play cricket after all it's the birthplace of Dickie Bird, Darren Gough and even Michael Parkinson could bat a bit.

    First Test v Zcultfm

The team has been selected for the first Test starting tomorrow. You can follow all the action here.

A groin injury (playing with Hawk) has forced Mike Empuria out of the match giving Cronweb his chance to make a name for himself. Hawk, as vice-captain takes over as captain for the Test. kiviniar's ODI performance has earned him a place in the Test team and there is also a chance for the third Test débutante, khuldun, to shine.

    Good luck everyone.
