Pesky Virgin Icon

I have got Virgin Net on my machine (UK) as an ISP. I have since uninstalled it but their icon still remains on the desktop of my computer. I have tried deleting, bombing it and giving it a good kick but it will not go away.
What can I do?

Run TweakUI and make sure its not listed as a special desk top icon. If it is then you can remove it from there. TweakUI is located on the Windows 98 CD in the tools directory. The Windows 95 version is available on the Microsoft website. Just search for it.
