The best ASP/NT/2000 hosting in the world?

I'm looking for the best ASP(NT/2000) hosting.

Bandwidth, Speed, and Stable should be the key point for judged the hosting company.

I don't trust any topXX hosting company from the "XXX Index" web site, :-)

    By the way, how about

    http://www.siteturn.com or CIHost?

CIHost - I doubt you will hear anything good about them But you will hear plenty of stories of people saying to stay away!

siteturn - never heard of them.

Check www.hostsearch.com and www.webhostingtalk.com. If a host has good things said about them on both sites chances are they are pretty good.

My newest NT host is Edore.net they will have SQL 2000 next month I'm pretty sure they have ASP. I use them for CFM 5

Depending on whether or not cost is a big issue, you could look at http://www.maximumasp.com

Expensive, but I've yet to see any bad reviews of them. I've only been with them myself for a little while, but the support has been outstanding - I've sent three support emails (one at about 3am EST) and the slowest response I've had was 25 minutes (with an answer, not just a "I've received your mail" type reply). They've also always been very polite, although as I say I've not had a great deal of contact with them.

40Gb transfer per month, 2Gb HD space, 100Mb SQL Server 2000 space; and from what I've seen their servers are very fast and stable. As I've said, the only drawback is the price; of course it's up to you to decide if it's worth it or not .

    Um... your website is down

They seem incredibly impressive (and expensive), but if you have the money, it seems like they are well worthwhile, look @ the case study!!!

http://www.intermedia.net , their server and connection are freaking fast, so is the support. Unline any other hosts out there, they don't use support ticket system, you can just email support@intermedia.net and they will answer your problem within minutes. I've been with them for almost 2 years now.

My website (the one in my profile anyway) is currently hosted at fasthosts, not maximumasp - I'm in the process of setting up an updated version at maximumasp before I move the domain there. Fasthosts' incredibly poor performance is one of the reasons I found maximumasp in the first place - my site goes down regularly at fasthosts, usually only for 15 minutes at a time but that's 15 minutes almost every day.

I'd agree wholeheartedly with the warning to stay away from fasthosts - they've done nothing right for me, and while the service hasn't been as bad as some hosts I've heard of I couldn't recommend them to anyone.

look at www.transinc.com. I was going to go with them but my dad thought he found a better hosting plan. he didn't.

Also, with transinc, don't let the unlimited bandwidth scare you. All the sites that they advertise as clients loaded fairly quickly.

Not sure but I think www.transinc.com are reseller's of CI host. If it is the hosting company I think it is of course . I used them about a year ago and found them quite good (for a month ) and left for a different host. There was nothing wrong with them but they had all the CI host software and packages.

The site I run uses SMBHost.com! We have everything that is need including ASP etc.. Although it may be a little pricey the customer service is very impressive. If you have the money for a very reliable service try it. Although it isn't the cheapest (but i dont pay for it anyway!!) it works wonders.

    Wink intermedia is great

I've been with intermedia for 4 years.. they are awesome.. everything can be managed remotely with their host pilot tool and they hardly ever have downtime. Their prices are a little higher, but I will never switch back from them. I made the mistake of trying "adehost" because they were less, but that was a HUGE mistake.

A few people at Sitpoint have used Gearhost, I heard mixed opinions on them. Are Dellhost in any way associated with Dell computers? If so then they probably have a very good connection support hardware etc. which could explain there prices.

Gearhost has experienced some growing pains like slow speed, delayed support and so on. They are still working on some issues but I can say now the service is pretty stable and speed is awesome. Honestly, I don't think I can find a better bang for buck than gearhost especially for Windows hosting.

Last I heard DellHost was outsourced to another company that were pretty poor and didn't deliver on the Dell reputation - but that could all have changed now of course.
