weird text in IE
Hi there,
I have a site im working on here. Im having this strange problem with some text in IE:
www.asolution4u.co.uk/home.html
The bottom middle columns text seems to spill one or two characters in to the right hand div. It doesnt matter how much or how little text i put in IE always shows one or two letters underneath the yellow box to the right of it. Ive looked around for ant stray text outside p elements etc buti cant figure it.
Please excuse the mess at the bottom. Im waiting on clients text. The site is going to be static so im going to rely on specifying heights once all the text is in to balance things out.

DIV "sidebar2"
IE has some strange problems with divs.
Try setting an explicit height and width on that one div "sidebar2"Don't be yourself. Be someone a little nicer. -Mignon McLaughlin, journalist and author (1913-1983)

Hi,
IE has some strange problems with divsI was trying to find out what caused it. I initally thought it was a bug thats caused by comments in the mark-up. It looked atlot like it...then i realised id not even commented my code! Its a weird one...
anyone have any ideas?

How did you fix it?
How did you fix this? Did applying the height and width actually fix it? It is not fixing my problem.

Er, mine was a weird one resulting fro the fact hat there was a hr tag in the vicinity set to display none ( to help make my html only page look nice!). I think i removed that hr tag and it fixed it.
Its a weird one and can come up for a number of reasons. One common one is too many comments in the markup...do you have that? Also sometimes giving the cleared element layout will fix the problem.
I Read about it, and more fixes here:
