this has been discussed a zillion times herejust make a quick search and you'll see!
FrontPage is probably the worst choice to make![]()

Used to think Frontpage...
Then I got Dreamweaver...
Never turned back.

Dreamweaver has more function than Frontpage, easy to use.
I wouldn't use either but if I had to choose it would be Dreamweaver every time. Having said that I understand that Expressions which is the replacement for FP is much much better than it's predecessor and might be worth a look if budgets are tight.

Download Expressions, very powerful. If NVU were £100 I 'd stillsay it was worth it. It is free. If you have the cash the DW buit it is only one tool.
Depends on what u want.
Dreamweaver but personally I only use it in code editor view as the wysiwyg in both Dreamweaver and Frontpage leaves a lot to be desired if you want to develop a standards compliant website.

Couldn't have said it better myself :-)Originally Posted by Dark Tranquility

I started out with nothing... and still got most of it left!
I like to handcode because I can keep the code clean. I tried using Dreamweaver a while back, and was able to do the same work in less time handcoding. Dreamweaver is OK... Frontpage is evil.... handcoding rocks... nuff said.

I was using Frontpage a few months back but I am learning DW now. Note pad is ok too but too slow for me. I'm not a good coder![]()
