I not only know what real beer is, can not only name a dozen such beers, but I can give you the intersection to where they're made.
He is a Canadian...Well as long as he doesn't name the watered down American stuff.

I know what poutine is, and I love the fact that every other nation on earth thinks it's gross.
Your making me hungry. I can't get poutine (the real stuff) on the west coast. Damn east cost food

French fries with Cheeze curds on top and nice thick gravy as a topping. Most places butcher it (it is a Quebec food I might add) but using regular cheddar and beef gravy. Still tastes great but its not quite there.

Yup, in fact when we went to Montreal the best place in town had a really funky spiced sauce. Down in the old city, it was great.

That said though, West Coast fish & chips (molly's reach, captain dave's, spinner's) are all great

Don't forget Sushi. I lived in Guelph for 25 years and could never find Sushi (never tried) moved out here and WOW fell in love. Seafood is the best out here (except maybe for newfie land) Wish I could get the best of both worlds

And Dr Larry - don't knock it. Except for the lightening fast artery clogging it is the best food ...Well one of.

Thats cause people out here have taste. Well sort of. Kokanee, Bud (football beer don't leave home withot it even if it is American), Keiths and Canadian.

Of course that isn't counting European beers which we seem to have a lot of. But I still miss Ontario Pub crawling.

Proven yourself to me. Hey and as for the 'supposed' attitude in your profile. Your in TO. The only place in Canada to get a feel for the states.

There's only one American beer that tastes decent...(this coming from an American)...and that's Sam Adams. I rarely drink, but when I do, it's either that, Heinekin or Killians.

I believe Sushi is a Japanese dish

Reminds me of the story of the American tourist who visits Italy and exclaims to his wife "Look! They have pizza here too!".
