i think the euro is a good move. also, it makes everyone's currency more like the US's (im from the US)
i think our currency is better, though. there's so many easier ways to handle things. the MAIN coins are
1, 5, 10, 25
and bills are
1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100
very easy because if you were to get rid of the 1, 5, and 10 cents, you would still be able to survive. you really only need the rest for tax and those "2.99" prices.
the euro gets rid of all those problems like conversion, but i think that if you really want to adapt to the system, then all you have to do is find a currency rate in your head. like "1 euro is 750 bogiewogies" and then try to get a feel for what is a lot and what is a little. you may loose a little money if you don't carry a calculator, but in the end you will be benefited.

Wouldn't it make more sense this day and age to stop using physical currency altogether?
I think it would be a whole lot easier if everything was done electronically, ATM Cards, Debit, etc.
