    Can you embed google maps in emails?

    Hi,

    Not sure where to post this question, but I decided to to put it here, is it possible to embed google maps in emails?

    I don't know - have you tried pasting the code into an email and sending it to yourself?

    It's probably not possible, or if it was, then there would be few clients who'd support it (who wants to allow emails to execute random javascript?!)
    You could of course give a link to the Google map page. If you use the "Link to this page" one, then it should be pretty much exactly what you want them to see.

    No, you can't - just about every email client ever made does not allow Javascript to be run in emails.

    You can do it via Aardvark Map... well, you wouldn't get the map appearing in the email as such, but you can generate a short link that points to a map. I always think this is the best method anyway as many people (myself included) are still in the Dark Ages when it comes to supporting HTML email.
