    Can't seem to load extentions.

I realized how much faster and efficient is was to use IIS and PHP locally instead of constantly uploading files to my site every time a small edit was required. I wish I would have discovered this earlier. There is, however, a problem. I have "installed" PHP 5 and am using it with IIS 5.1. I need to use some fuctions that are located in extention DLL. I've configured php.ini to load specific DLL and have restarted IIS, but it seems as though the extentions are not loading.

Is there something that I am aware of that will solve this problem. Any input is appreciated. Thanx!

I am afraid, it won’t be possible to solve your problem unless you give us a more complete information on your problem. For one, which extensions are not working? all or only a few of them?

use phpinfo() function to determine if correct php.ini file is being read and what extensions are being loaded.

As an aside, please consider using Apache instead of IIS.

make sure you have edited the correct php.ini file

call phpinfo() to see the correct location.

    Solution

I realized that the environmental varible PATH did not contain my php directory. Added it...problem solved.
