Using a form to go to form-defined URL

I'm working on a search module for VGRC, and would like to get an external search box coded that I can place outside the CMS.

    http://www.vgrc.net/modules.php?module=search

The elusive Vortex Portal search module: Finished. Almost.

The search module will work by manipulating the URL, I found out. For example:

    http://www.vgrc.net/modules.php?sear...&module=search
    http://www.vgrc.net/modules.php?sear...&module=search
    http://www.vgrc.net/modules.php?sear...&module=search

Those URLs all bring you to valid searches.

So, is what I want to do is use a textbox that I can place anywhere, where the user enters a game name. Hitting the "search" button will load up the customized URL: /modules.php?search_term=SEARCHTERM&module=search, only with SEARCHTERM replaced by whatever was in the textbox.

I know there's probably a way to do this, but I'm ultra-n00b at PHP still.

So any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Nevermind. Somebody on another forum answered this. This can be closed now.
