    Printing CSS in IE

    I have a CSS website that uses no tables. On pages with a lot of type it causes the page to extend out beyond a normal page size. In any other browser my pages print fine, but in IE 6 my page content is split between to printed pages and a lot of type is cut out. Is there a way I can fix this? Does any body know about Printing in IE?

    A lot of the time firefox and ie see things different. You can force ie to see the same thing by setting up seperate style sheets. My thought is it reads it and shows it on the screen, but it is not printing correctly because it is deferring back to what it thinks is correct.

    Code:
     <link rel="stylesheet" href="print.css" type="text/css" media="print" />

     <link rel="stylesheet" href="screen.css" type="text/css" media="screen" />
    This is a way you can seperate the two. On the print style sheet if you want something to not print simply put:

    Code:
    .whatever { display: none; }
    I hope this helps a bit. Without examples or css I really can't help further. If you are still having problems, please post again.

    There is a great article about making a print style sheet if you haven't read it, I'd highly recommend it.
