    Standard business envelope size?

Is the standard envelope size for business correspondence 4 1/8" x 9 1/2"? I see those everywhere I go.

I was trying to find a definite answer but see different things on the internet. I see some things that say that the 7.5 x 3.875 is standard but wasn't sure.

    What size does everyone use?

    I use #10 envelopes (4 1/8 x 9 1/2) - pretty sure that's the standard.

    *sticks head in*

If I have to send something via mail, I usually send it in a #10 security envelope. They're available at your local post office or office supply store.

If I have to use a larger envelope (say for instance I have some documents and/or photographs that cannot be bent) I'll purchase a large manilla envelope and stick that inside a large mailing sleeve available at my local post office.
