    scrolling text box with buttons?

    the content should be fluid, BUT i dont want a tacky scroll bar instead there will be buttons on the right to control the text box movement. im not sure how to set the box up but i can figure that out its how to enable the buttons instead of the scroll bar

    Hello

    To make the scrolling division use:
    Code:
    <div id="scrollBox">
     This is some text that if it were long enough to scroll it would, lets hope it is long enough.
    </div>
    and for the css:
    Code:
    #scrollBox {
     width: 200px;
     height: 100px;
     overflow: auto;
    }
    I do not think you can alter the scrollbar in all browsers with css alone. There are probably some DHTML scrolling solutions that might suit your requirements.
