    The best is in Office Space. At one point the guy is using a PC clone with a Mac interface. I thought it was fairly amusing.

    Pay more attention to the hacker in 'Hackers' instead of Angolina Joli.

    They need to do that. If they showed what really happens nobody would bother. They need to show it creativly. That was a touch over board though haah

    Well, it might've been a Mac clone, you never know...

    But I really think Office Space deserves to be forgiven. It's one of the best movies ever made.

    Not only programming ...

    .. when you have done something wrong and your first thought is "where's the undo command?"

    Or when using simple programming syntax as a replacement for everyday thought processes.

    A few weeks ago when attempting to plan out my homework schedule during classes before the corresponding class the homework was duein, I was using if-elseif-else statements in my head.

    It was quite an experience, especially when I didn't relize I was doing it until later. Didn't touch PHP for about a week afterwards. Gah.

    When you have to define:

    Encode
    Storage
    and Retrieval

    On your pyscology final and you define them in computer terms.

    and believe it or not I actually ansered a question with a If statement.

    Salivate = Yes
    Else
    Salivate = No

    Once, I bumped my Palm III off my desk with my elbow. The screen got a long nice crack over the screen. First thing I did was to shout: "****! CTRL+Z!"

    you know you've been coding too long when...

    you start imagining the properties and methods of everyday objects... I mean: items.

    pen.click.write(signature());
    That's a nice suit... does it come in your size?

    hehehe... yeah... you don't know how many times i've been handwriting an essay or somthing, stuffed somthing up and though ctrl-Z, quick!

    And when you start critizising any graphic that you see, and how you could 'easily' make it yourself in PSP7.

    Or when your coding some HTML, and accidentally post it into a MSN while talking to sketch
