    Question Cool CSS Country Selector

    Hello,

Longtime Sitepoint fan... new to posting... here it goes...

I need to create a site in which the user will need to select a country. I have been looking around for ideas on the coolest way to do this and I like the following example... http://www.quest.com/

I like how it has the country flags and the overall effect. Is this difficult to do?

In regards to CSS I'd say I'm low-intermediate in my understanding and implementation. ANY help is appreciated! I looked at the code and it looks pretty menacing for my abilities.

    Best,

    Mike

Let me finish up with my client (he's working me like a dog right now, but I LOVE it) and I'll be happy to take a look at it, ok?

There's actually not much CSS involved. It's a drop menu made visible and hidden using javascript. The content of the drop is simple HTML using a table.

I recently coded this similar "Quick Jump Menu" for a client.
A lot of code not relevant to this has been removed so the js and css may seem a little bloated. I did comment the heck out of them though.

Originally designed to show on hover, the menu now displays on click but could be converted back fairly easily. The menu auto-hides a short time after the mouse ends hovering, or by clicking the original button. Additionally, the menu can be set to remain open by checking a box.

^Yes, it's very easy to do, all you need to do is find a script for hiding/unhiding div's
