    Hello

Here is one that is not even a trial, it is free: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1 though I do believe they have a paid version also.

    Check it out.

I'll second AVG Anti-Virus. If you're using it at home (and not for work) then the free version will be perfect for you. If you use it in a commercial setting (even a home office) for commercial purposes (like on an office PC) you will have to purchase a license. But don't worry about the cost, it's not that much of a hit on the wallet.

Unlike spyware software (which you should run multiple installations--I'll get to that in a moment), there should be only ONE anti-virus software on your system-much less running, at a given time.

I personally use AVG Anti-Virus for viruses, and a combination of Ad-Aware, Spybot Search & Destroy and Spyware Blaster. I've thought about including Microsoft's Windows Defender but haven't decided yet.

Also, be sure to use a secure browser instead of IE to browse the Web (unless you've disabled ActiveX in IE--then you should be fine as long as you don't do anything stupid, like go to known malware sites). Most people will recommend FireFox, but I'll toss another one out there. Opera. As deathshadow can tell you, if the page doesn't work properly in Opera, chances are either it wasn't designed/coded properly, or it's trying to mess your system up.

Use AVG... works great. I would suggest staying away from Norton... in lots of cases it doesn't do the job it is supposed to.

AVG although I do think the Avast Interface is sleek it seems a bit blocky for me.
