    has any one used Punbb forum script

    Hi
    i would like to know if punbb.org is a good forum script ...i am gonna start 3 forum based websites and i am gonna use only free forum script.

    if any one of u had experience in using punbb please advice with some tips.
    i would like to see someof u r sample urls if any.

    I have used PunBB for private boards such as development and easy communication between a team. I have not used it on any public forums, but it should be just as great. If you just want the basics, stick with that, otherwise PhpBB and SMF are the way to go.

    I happen to like SMF although the beta version of phpbb 3 looks very nice.

    I've played around with PunBB and like it a lot. Haven't had the need to use it on a public site yet. The upcoming new release of PunBB will also (hopefully) be much more accessible than any other forum software out there.

    What I like about PunBB is probably what others dislike about it - it's simplicity and clean overall look.

    Have a look on their own forum and you'll see a "show off your site" thread. Some of the forums on there look really great. I love the Mint one.
