    JQuery - Unchange or Unbind

    I have tried posting to the Nabble Jquery forum to ask this question, but the moderator must be on holidays. My subscription request is unanswered and none of my posts are getting posted.

    I have a form that is set up to work well without javascript. Here is a copy with all the irrelevant stuff removed.
    http://www.clotheshorse.com.au/clotheshorse/test.php

    However if javascript is enabled I want the form to become ajax enabled. To do this I am attempting to change the onchange events for the filters and the page navigation and add a hidden field.

    So far I have been attempting to remove the current onchange event on the filter box - id='filter'. My JQuery statement to achieve this is:

    PHP Code:
        $(document).ready(function(){
            $(
    ".adminForm").append('<input type="hidden" name="no_html" id="no_html" value="1">');
            $(
    "#filter").unbind("change");
            $(
    "#filter").unchange();
          });
    So far the unbind and unchange commands aren't working. Anyone have any idea why?

    Nevermind, I've managed a workaround. I've given up getting the 'unchange' function to work.
