    I know

    you cant realy make a profit, i mean you can but i dont know how, becuase like take a software for an example say you ordered it brand new to sell and it coast you $20, on ebay they sell software for $10

    I think it's more like a yard sale. You won't make a profit by retailing via eBay, but you can recover some of the costs of something you're done with. 'Zat make sense?

    You can make a profit on ebay. There are people who make their living selling there.

    It's simply a matter of buying items in enough bulk to justify a lower selling price.

    If you buy 1 of an item then you might get that item for $100. If you buy 25 of an item you might get that item for $90. If you buy 1000 of that item then you might get it for $80. Then you can turn around and sell it for $90. That's still $10 lower than most people could get it for, but you're making $10 of every sale.

    What he is saying is basically buy wholesale, which means you get it cheaper, then sell it for more money on ebay!
