Does anyone know of any web-based host management software or scripts that would allow me to enter new customer info into a form and have it change files/create dirs appropriately?

You might try searching for a script at www.cgi-resources.com or www.bignosebird.com for a CGI or Perl script. I have seen a couple like you mentioned at CGI Resources before.

    Hope this helps!

What kind of backend are you using?? I have something in ASP that I have been working on (Kind of why my front end looks bad right now). There are many scripts available at the previously mentioned addresses that do this if you want to create a homepage community.

It would be for a hosting company, just simplifying the addition of virtual hosts.. like editing httpd.conf for me etc...

Well I am going to guess that since your using httpd.conf that your not using NT or ASP. Check http://cgi.resourceindex.com/ under Homepage Communities in the PERL section.
