    Going crazy here!

I was fooling around with stuff, I use vbul forum and abadvanced cms, there is a section where we can set our right and left columns to a certain width... right now its at 175... but the columns ignore it, as you can see the right one is much wider then the left one.....

Can someone direct me to what is over-riding the setting?

a table cell will expand and shrink depending on what is inside that cell, that's how tables work. You can try and specify a width using css, but the same principle would still apply - if you have content that is wider than 175px then of course, the cell will expand to fit it in... also with a whole string of text without a break will have the same effect.
