    NEED HELP! CONVERTING IMAGES

Anybody knows how to convert TIFF file to JPEG, GIF or PNG.
I have a database which contains several thousand of TIFF images. Now I want to publish it on the web, this will only be possible if I have a code or snippets or anything that can convert TIFF to any web compatible format. I prefer using PHP, PERL or C/C++.

    I want it open source....

Well, you could do this is Photoshop, with a llittle effort, by creating an action, then batch processing the images.

There's an app called Advanced Batch Converter you can get here

As far as open source, I think GIMP can do batch processing, though I've only used it a few times, and not for batch processing

I've already think of that. But what I need is a library or a module that can be run on PERL, PHP, or C++. I have to include it into my program.
    Here the real scenario.

I have a database in MySQL which contains several fields, one of the is blob which store TIFF image. Now, I want to create a page which can access the images on the database. It's not possible for now because the images are in TIFF format. So now I have to device a way how to do it automatically, automatically that it will only convert the images that needs to viewd on the web page and delete it after.

Although I can change the format to jpg or gif in batch mode. I have an external application that also uses that database and can only open TIFF file.
