    Internet Explorer Expression for fixed positioning

    Now, my question is, is there a way to intermix some javascript with that expression so that the "jerkiness" one receives is less apparent?

    I like this way rather hten using Dean Edwards IE7 script, because his specific script is conflicting with some other JS files our Ruby on Rails application uses.

    Any thoughts on this? Can I remove the jerkiness?

    IE7 supports position:fixed.
    The only way to emulate it in IE6 without "jerkiness" is to use an image background-position:fixed.

    So, in my case I have a form that stays put on the page, so I assume that means "no" because it doesn't work off of a background image.

    What I can't figure out is why in IE 6, you don't get any jerkiness on this site:
