One thing to consider is that is script. People's penmanship (especially mine is not so good.)

Hopefully this is right, i don't believe i've ever written my name in arabic. But my handwriting stinks. no way around that.

The Latin based alphabets used to be more artisitc just look at old calligraphy. Its just that this wasn't appreciated enough in our cultures and such artistic expression in writing has mostly disappeared.

I am really enjoying seeing people's names being written. I'd ask for mine but I have no idea how to explain how to pronounce my last name correctly. It is Italian so trying to pronounce it the way it looks in English gets it all wrong.

If someone knows Italian maybe they could post the proper pronunciation of my last name. My full name is Kenneth Lea (lee) Barbalace.

ah ! well then here's an updated version :

    Arthur :

    Text version of "Arthur":
    آرثر

Well i wanted to use the simplest form so it's more readable (by those who know arabic) and easier overall. I also used a black font on a white background so that anyone can easily manipulate the image to suite them. I could still use different fonts if someone asks though. (check my next post)

DevAngel, how is "Celine" pronounced exactly??

That's actually pretty good ! (for a foreigner of course)

KLB, i'll wait till i get the pronunciation for your last name. Or do you want me to do your first name for now?

Ok, in this post i'll use different Arabic fonts on "Arthur". If anyone wants on of those, just let me know which one (by telling me it's number) :

    Font 1 (default):

    Font 2:

    Font 3 (decorative) :

    Font 4 :

    Font 5 :

    Font 6 (decorative):

Those are the fonts i found for now. I probably missed a few from the list (most of the list has english fonts, arabic fonts are lost between them).
