    So what does Rick (Richard if it's easier to write) Boyce look like in arabic? Not totally sure how to describe Boyce - its sort of like Boy with the final CE sound from Choice/Voice on the end.

    NO definatly not! It drives me mad when people pronounce my last name as Boys or Boyes It's Boyce (Boy-CE) - the ce is most definatly pronounced!

    Perhaps you can tell, but its a mistake alot of people make

    Yes it is. Seeing the Arabic in this thread makes you realize how dull looking our Latin-based alphabet is. Arabic looks as much like an artistic expression as a language.
