    CMS or not?

Hey everyone, I'm making an information site about crafts and I can't decide whether or not to use joomla or just program it by hand. I want to add articles fairly frequently but I am pretty good at php/html/css and I am concerned joomla will limit my options and hurt my SEO. Can any advise whether or not it is worth it to use joomla or to just do it by hand?

    Thanks,
    Kevin

    Joomla limit your options?
    Joomla hurt your SEO?

Where did you get those Ideas? I use Joomla and mambo for some of my larger sites and in fact, my biggest SEO sucess to date uses Joomla. If you are concerned about the URL structure, you can enable SEF URLs and they work fine. There are also paid components that expand on that.

Regarding your "Options", what are your future plans for the site? Where do you feel Joomla can limit you?
