Question Simple CMS for One or Two Pages?

    Hi everyone,

I know that you all are tired of hearing these questions, but I have been reading posts, articles, etc. and racking my brain on this.

I have a client that just wants to maintain one or two pages of his site. He wants the ability to add a product photo, link, and a description. The site is all static. He has a small boutique store and wants to add/remove products on these pages.

I have read up on about every kind of CMS out there (Joomla, WordPress, etc.). So many of these seem like too much.

Are there any suggestions for someone that just wants to update a couple of pages? The client doesn't know html, so he needs a WYSIWYG type editor to add his products.

    Thanks in advance!

A CMS for just 2 pages just doesn't seem worth it. (Unless later on the guy decides to expand to 3!)

I know, but he has stuff that he sells that he only has a few of and wants to have the ability to take them off as soon as he sells them. I probably could encourage him to expand to 3 pages...

If you want something really really simple then either build them a couple of database driven pages with text boxes for them to type in the content or use something like this:

    clearweb,

if you try out snippetmaster, please give us an update how it worked for your situation. I'm finding that is not an unusual situation at all. Small clients want the ability to "manage" their site. We can build them a database driven system, but by the time you give them an input form, then forms for editing etc, the cost is usually more than they are interested in (small time clients). A low simple low cost solution could help these clients out.

Also, you may want to check out CuteNews. Simple, but effective. (But be careful, for something so slim and pretty, it has a history of .... gaping holes)
