    ...on specifying font sizes. These days there are so many ways to do it, I want to know your opinions on which way is the best.

    I want to build sites that look good in all browsers but don't take away the user's ability to resize their fonts, and I want it to be relatively easy to use.

    CSS: Point, em, pixel, etc? Or should I just stick with 'font size="2"'

    Use CSS and specify sizes using either EM or small, medium, large. This will enable users to resize the fonts still.

    Using the FONT tag will require a lot of maintenance if you ever decide to change the font, color or size in the future. If you link in your CSS file you will be able to do all these changes from one file which is cacheable and decreases download times.
