    Review my portfolio

    http://www.designsbyrandy.com/

I'm working on a new wordpress design that should be really sweet when I get it done. That'll be a few weeks or months till it's done, so I designed a simple one page site that features my work. Let me know what you all think!

    hi, a few thoughts:

    -not liking the background pattern
-the script font used in titles are nice, but not the outlined gray logo (designs by randy)
-i'd try some variations on the thumbnails layout
    -overall; clean but needs improvements

    Edit:

don't know if this is good or bad but the designs in your portfolio are better than the existing portfolio site

I've got to agree with the above that background look very "amateur web site circa 1997".

    and...

it's obvious from your portfolio you are capable of much more!

I think it is definitely layed out very well. I like how you immediately see thumbnails of various images right away.

You might want to consider using a different font though, but you may have picked it as a "unique" font, so that choice is yours.

Maybe give it a centered as well.

Otherwise, good job and good luck! I like it, definitely.

OK - thanks for reviewing - i changed the bg - i have a idea on the portfolio part that i'm going to work on tommorow. it should turn out good. just remember, this is just a easy fix to my new design i am creating. it's gonna take me a while to design it, so i threw something together in a couple of hours

'Please note i am just offering my opinion and in no way intend to offend you or your work in anyway!'

I like the way youve set it out but i would suggest that you change the font to arial, tahoma, vendena etc - something like that and that you make the size of the font a little bit bigger.

Otherwise i think i like the look of it, its different and individual, something the web needs more of!

I like the look of the title - it's simple and informative.

An Introduction text is short which I like. You say "quality swrvice" three times, I think you can put some particular info there instead of that. But I really like short introductions anyway.

The thumbnails shown are pretty blured especially the first one, can't read the text at all, even if I see them in a big window.

It doesn't seem blury to me, i dunno. It's temporary, so I'm not going to mess with it. I got something in mind for the new design, and it should really excite everyone! Can't wait to show you!
