I'm looking for a half decent digital camera for around £200-250 (US$300 - 375?).
I have a Kodak DC 215zoom at work and have been very happy with it, but thought I'd ask here for any recommendations.....

If your looking at doing anything remotly professional with it, dont get any of the sony cameras with th povo lenses... the *real* one takes alright pics, but the others![]()

I've been very happy with my Olympus Camedia 490Zoom. It's a 2.1 megapixel.
A little over a year ago it was going for US$499, it should have gone down by now.

CNET just listed their top 5 semipro cameras. They're all a bit above your price range though!
I'm after a new camera too. I bought a Minolta Dimage 2300 back in May/June time and something went wrong with it.I contacted Jungle and they don't sell that camera anymore, so they're going to give me my money back instead. That one was £247. The one I'm eyeing up now is around £300 - a Fuji FinePix 2400 Zoom.
