    Help Needed with Webdate *URGENT*

    Hi Everyone,

I am not sure if this is where I should be posting this but here goes.

Until recently I was a WebDate user (not a happy one though). When my webhost went bellyup a couple of months back, I was fortunate to have a backup of my website downloaded onto my computer.

I now need to access my members' information in the database but do not know how to access this. Can anyone help me?

eg. What folder/file should I be looking for?

Hope someone can help as I want to extract all the member information and insert it into a new database/website.

    Many thanks in advance,

    Rosen

    database info

Database information is stored in a database, not a file in a folder. Unless you saved a backup file, or one was created by other means, the information may not be available. There are several ways the information could have been saved. Most commonly (for mysql, anyway), it is "exported" as a "some_name.sql" file. Or it may be as "some_name.csv", or maybe a "txt" or "xml" file (I've always saved as sql, so I'm not sure about the other formats).
Your best hope is to do a "find, *.sql" search of your site's folder.

Thank you so much for helping! I have it all sorted now as I found the mysql folder and a separate photos folder.

Have a wonderful day! Many thanks again.
