    Controlling/Overriding style not working

    Hi

    Here is the page: http://www.binitbharadia.co.uk/reg/

Please try and look in IE5 only

If you hover over the services button you get a drop down, but it does not look quite right as there is alot of padding on the bottom and left there is a style on "#nav a". I have tried to set padding and margin to 0 on "#nav li ul li a" but no luck.

    Any Ideas?

    Many Thanks

Which version of Internet Explorer 5 are you having the problem with? Internet Explorer 5 for Windows, or Internet Explorer 5 for the Macintosh?

Start by declaring a character encoding in your HTML file and removing the quotation marks from sans-serif (the generic font name is a keyword, and cannot be quoted).

It looks like either a margin or padding problem could be to blame for the effect you are seeing in IE5/Win. If you don't mind, I'd like to recreate the page on my end to see if I can pinpoint the problem. Do you have an example of a page where this menu will be used by any chance, just so I have something to test against once I get the Win-IE 5.01 problem fixed?

Like I said on CSS Creator, if you're trying to get this right in IE5 first and then working on other, more recent browsers, you're doing it backwards.
