    How did they do this?
    http://polymathic.tripod.com/menu/menu.htm

The green menu on the left. How was it made? I'd love to do something similar, but I know very little about javascript. The 'I want this Script' doesn't work well either, because it doesn't give the same results.

How do I get something like this green menu?
    Thanks for your help

I'm not a JavaScript expert either, but I do know enough to get by.

If you viewed the script, you would only see about a third of the source script. The script on the page are mostly arrays that make up the menu names and hyperlinks, i.e. this is the part of the script that you customize for your own navigation.

The first two lines reveal the other sources. There is .js and a .lib file located in the same directory. These you will also need in order to make the menus work.

You can get the same effect using the coolmenus2 script found at www.bratta.com in the scripts section. He also has a detailed tutorial on setting up the script and there are online forums available providing further support.

I would really recommed going with the DHTML script you'll find at bratta.com. DHTML is a lot less taxing on the surfer's computer.

Working on your request. There are a few errors in the script that have to be tracked down before it can be customized though. It would be easier if the download worked but it doesn't work properly. I just get a page saying click to download continually.

I checked out the script at bratta.com and its not exactly what I'm looking for, though it does have some good tutorials and I will definitely revisit that site.

I have copied the dhtml library and .js file for the green menu, but apart from that, have no idea how to customize it. It seems as if every little thing I try causes an error! (see the javascript post in the trading forum!)
