Reciprocal Links: Who Shall I Trade My Links With?

    Greetings,

I need some advice from you guys here- may it be novices or marketing gurus

I have a Logo Design business website and it's doing quite well...

However, I am a bit lost with reciprocal links. I would like to create reciprocal links, but with what business that best suite a Logo Design service?

Something that could really give best result for both partis.

Some thoughts are: Web hosting company? But isn't that too broad?

Any ideas? I would really appreciate it...

    Thanks in advance!

    Thanks for the reply,

Yes i have been doing that, however it is not so effective as it's a totally different industry. this does get a lot of link, but no quality referalls...

for example, a logo i designed for a site get's about 1,000 hits per day. however, it's an invoicing company...

nobody goes to the site with "logo" in mind.

see what i mean... and same thing goes to me. having an invoicing company link on my site would be a total waste. they won't get any quality hits...

First thing you need to do is decide on a target audience, it sounds like you already have a pretty good idea about this. Obviously, your prospective clients are business owners, probably small business owners. Other webmasters and web developers would also be another great group to target. So start targeting!

Get listed at the various web development and web resource directories. Make "partners" with web design companies, and even web hosting. Their clients are more than likely in need of good graphics, so run with that. You might consider trading a couple links with the various "free graphics" websites. Then there's always the business directories and business resource websites. I'm sure both would love to add your link to their directory.

    Hello RKuhle,

thanks for your input. I think you have some great ideas there!

I also thought about approaching printing companies. that mught work right?

I also noticed that you do the same line of services as I am which gives me more ideas- approach web design templates services.

would you like to trade links with me? what are your specifications to consider trading links?

Anybody else have some good ideas I can use?
