Network Admins

I'm doing my AS Level IT coursework right now, and the task is to get details about a network (preferably medium-sized), like the topology, client and server OS, security prevention etc (no information about data on network is needed).

I'm appealing to people who are (or have been) Network Administrators, and also have knowledge of the network they administrated.

If you have good experience in this area I would be eternally grateful if you could contact me (PM). I'd give you an informal questionnaire which would probably take about 5-10 minutes to complete.

We have roughly 100 workstations, a dozen servers, etc, so I believe that qualifies as "medium"

btw jeremy I always meant to ask you, what exactly does the company you work for do?

I work full time, as Lead Developer, for a church. 4000+ members, 7 websites, 15M+ page views/month, 3 folk "under" me.

It's quite exciting actually as we get to merge existing business systems with online apparati, and create whole new tools that have saved over 50K just this year.
