adengage - signs of a good company

    Just received this from adengage.

"At AdEngage, we pride ourselves on fast and consistent ad serving. Unfortunately, yesterday (8/29/2006) AdEngage experienced some technical difficulties which resulted in intermittent periods of poor ad serving performance.

For the advertisers who had ads running on your site(s) yesterday, we have extended those campaigns by one extra day.

To compensate you, we will be paying you for one extra day's earnings when checks are sent out on Sept 15. We will take your total earnings for August and pay you an additional 3.2%. So, for example, if you earn $100 in August, we will pay you an extra $3.20 for a total of $103.20. These additional earnings will be noted on your payment history page.

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

    Best regards,

    The AdEngage Team"

A "small" gesture perhaps but certainly a good one. Places them first in my cpc/direct sales list

I have advertised with Adengage for a while now. I must say I never had one problem with this team of great people.

They answer emails quickly and solve any problems immediately.

I my opinion, Adengage has a bright future ahead as long as they keep up with running an honest service/company.

Yes, ADengage is great. I just wish more 'bigger' sites would join there network so I can advertise on them.

AdEngage are okay but they have never managed to accurately measure/guestimate clicks. They show all kinds of wild numbers for a site.

Many of the sites using them are dodgy as hell but overall AdEngage is ok. I've been using them as an advertiser and publisher for over a year now.

Adengage is much better than adbrite, but they still need some bigger sites to join.
I am talking this from advertisers side, tried to ise them once as publisher, but their code made an error on my site, so have to removed it

I have noticed that and I actually told them about it and apparently I was wrong, but I know I was not wrong.

I find that their stats make out that you are getting more clicks to your site than what you really are. Because of this you think you are doing well and keep advertising with their merchants.

I then set up my own stats system and found out that I am getting not as many clicks as they say and I was infact making a loss with them and not a profit from the traffic I was receiving.

I have not promoted with them since. But I use to spend somethingn like $300 or more a month with them.

I've started to advertise a good amount on AdBite over the last few weeks in the Summer. Not that bad I must say. Does AdEngage have a similiar program for advertisers like AdBrite?

Yes it is quite similar to Adbrite, but in some cases maybe a little easier to use.

Yep, I'm waiting for that and for some more varied publishers. But if you're in entertainment topics, you're all set!

I seem to have problems with adengage today.
I have brought ads on a few websites and after a day have passed, the clicks still show 0.
It should have at least 100+ clicks per day as stated.
Is there any problems with my report?

It could be the way you have written your ads. I think the stats update regulary.

I find that when I always do ads the average amount of clicks that they show you may get, you normally get lower and then when you do get clicks they normally report more clicks than what you actually are getting.

I've always thought stats updated in real time for me.

You're not going to get the # of clicks alleged in the directory. I believe it's the average # of clicks in *total* for the site - and they're may be 8 or 16 or whatever number of ads. You're going to get approximately the # of clicks stated divided by how many ads that site sells.

If you have some type of entertainment site as someone stated earlier Adengage is the place for you.

Some of these sites can bring you 500 to over 1000 visitors in one day. Please look at where the majority of their visitors come from because now you have to see are these visitors of "quality."
